I just posted pictures of my Mercury machine over at the Vintage shop but thought everyone might be interested in seeing this machine. I bought her for $20 at one of my local thrift shops. I had asked the owner if he ever came across old sewing machines when he goes to the auctions and he said he had 2 in his attic (there at the store). DH and I went upstairs with him and there it was just sitting on the floor along with it's "sister" (one just like it). They both had the original cases and I bought this one because the case was in excellent condition. There were also some huge industrial machines up there and he told me that his father owned a reupholstering shop and these were some of the machines they used. We took her home and DH cleaned and oiled her and she took right off! I just love her :D
