    Losing the corners was not a bad thing, IMO. I like that shape. Very nice.

    I think you did a great job of restoring this quilt-it is lovely. I like what you did to the corners so you would have fabric for your restoration. It was probably the preferable way to go---had you used fabric from the back of the dresdens it probably would not fave matched because of the natural fading of the surface of the quilt.
