The dozen quilt tops all belonged to a couple who we've been good friends with for about 20 years. They're an older couple and the woman who made these quilt tops was the grandmother of him. So these have special sentimental meaning for them. They've had these tops in a bag in storage for about 50 years since they came by them and decided that they wanted to have them quilted so they could have them out and use them and enjoy them. So I've been quilting them for them.
You are very kind hearted to quilt these beautiful quilt tops. I am sure they appreciate them....

    :-D

    Hey Eddie,
Your quilting these tops has probably saved them. Amazing after 50 years in a bag that they look so good. So  to you and  to the lady who made the tops all those years ago.

Eddie, you're doing a great job. Your choices of backings and bindings have been perfect. I can't wait to see the rest. I love vintage quilts. I think a simple 9 patch can be the most beautiful quilt.
