    Nice job! I love vintage quilts. I also have a top from around the 30's that needs quilted. Now that I see yours it has encouraged me to get started. Thanks for sharing this photo and story.

    I love to see the old fabrics... A friend gave me a big bag of her grandma's unfinished stuff (crochet and quilting) when grandma died, and in it were enough vintage blocks to make two quilts, with fabrics much like in the quilt you have shown. I need to finish them!

    I also found it very interesting that the King's Cross pattern was used in this quilt. In my ignorance, I had thought it was a 1930s design but it is obviously older than that. Very interesting history link as well as a nice quilt.
