Fantastic! It's similar to taking a vintage object and giving it new life. beautiful job.

My first thought on seeing the remake is , "WOW!" You did an awesome job. I have two vintage tops I need to sandwich and quilt. My MIL got them from Oklahoma when she and FIL were back there some years ago. She doesn't know who made them or when but they are definitely 30's or 40's fabric and pieced by hand. I should hand quilt them, too, but not sure what I'll do.

You're to be commended for your patience and beautiful work!

How lucky you were to find something like this at a thrift store!

Hey, this is cool! I bought a wonky small quilt top at a thrift store. It doesn't lay flat but looks like old dresses and such, so I bought it anyway. Maybe a little child's first quilt? But this was great inspiration! I can take it apart and rework it! Thanks!
