    Don't you just love it when things turn out right? This certainly did...beautiful job...the texture is great...now you can pet the quilt...LOL

    Thanks for all the lovely comments. I have decided that this quilt is Mine! I have given away so many of my quilts but I love the texture and colors in this one. It will be my naptime/lap quilt to snuggle under in the winter.
    I think most of the pillowcases were 100% cotton, I love the idea of repurposing fabric as I tend to be frugal by nature. I think the most expensive part of this quilt was the thread as I certainly used a lot of it.

    Lovely pastel quilt. I use sheets for my backs and love them. I do not listen to the quilt police that say I shouldn't. My LA lady does a wonderful job and has no complaints about my using them. I buy them at the thrift store and usually pay about $3 for a queen size backing. Your quilt is very pretty, never thought about using pillow cases.

    What a great idea! The patterns and colors are wonderful and nostalgic. The straight line quilting you chose is perfect!
