    That looks like my mom's 1940ish machine. I learned to sew on it. I pieced my first 9 patch on it. My grandmother and aunt then put my blocks into a quilt and quilted it. It was a treadle machine as we didn't have electricity when she first got her machine.

    thanks all. It is easier than it seems, just have to remember to give the wheel a turn before starting. It's like riding a bike - comes back. Will post pictures of the quarter square triangle blocks maybe tomorrow.

    I just got a Treadle in May,A 1921 Singer Red eye, I love, love, love her.Started a Winding Ways Quilt on her. And she sews like a dream.You will Love that machine.Con-Grats!!!
