What a beautiful quilt. Lots of hard work.

I made this quilt, also. Took my time with the hand embroidery, probably over a period of two years. Still working on the quilting, free motion on my domestic machine. I just work on it in between other projects. I love how this one turned out! The stitching and your quilting is just perfect! Sure wish I had seen yours before I started mine. I did do the micro stippling in the background of some of my blocks, though, and really like. Had a little trouble with ideas for some of the more open areas and love how you did this. Btw. I used Cosmos embroidery floss, as recommended by Crabapple Hill, the designers of the pattern. Thanks for sharing this.

OMG that is fantastic! I had to go look at the kit and was about ready to buy it when reality kicked in. I will never get it done. Driving Route 66 is a kick!

Great job by all! I have the same quilt--done with multi colored thead (the pattern book shows both color pathways) and just need to put it together and then quilt. What weight thread did you use with all that embroidery? what thread did you use? You did a great job cause I know that there is a lot of embroidery and it's close together!
