    LOL! Yes, I did have trouble letting go of this one! And.... it was out of state, so I had to box it up and send it! I was a nervous wreck until I knew she had received the box!

    I'm always amazed by the quilt tops that come into my studio. I must have said (at least a hundred times) "Oh, you won't be getting this one back when it's finished"!

    That is one very pretty quilt. Wonder if there are special memories about Route 66 for the mother.

    Actually, yes. She used to live near there, and has been "up and down the road" many times.
