    Default Vintage Tin - The Route 66 Quilt

    One of my clients brought this through the door recently, and I jumped for joy at the prospect of being able to quilt it! There is lots of hand embroidery on it, and lots of white space to play with a little free motion quilting. The embroidery was done by her mother, and this quilt is now hanging in the entry way at her Mom's home!

    wow, lots of intricate hand work in that -- & your quilting fits in perfectly --
    Route 66 must have a special meaning for the maker -- such a scenic place [in northern PA anyway]

    Wow! You both did an amazing job. I don't believe I've ever seen depth achieved by machine quilting but the way you chose to quilt the car in front of the garage really does make it more dimensional. And you can quote me on that!
    PS Can you please find out what kind of embroidery floss - the brand - that she used?
