    What a wonderful quilt and you've done a fantastic job with it. Looks like everything from 30's to 70's and maybe beyond in the fabrics. Love it!

    I really like that!!! And I don't usually like vintage quilts! I also like the quilting pattern (the circles)...:)

    Looks like a wedding ring married a pickle dish. I say that because I don't like wedding rings (not the marrying kind) yet I adore pickles. It's lovely.

    You did a wonderful job rescuing it from forever quilt-top-ville.

    Sorry to disagree.. but the arcs in a pickle dish are made of triangles rather than rectangles. I'd say it's a form of double wedding ring, although the arcs are wider than usual. I agree that the fabrics span a period of time. I see a couple that look very like fabrics in a scrappy quilt made by my grandmother and great grandmother in the 40's.. no telling how old they were then. Lovely quilt!!!
