Quilts are meant to be loved. I think it is beautiful and love looking at all of her fabrics from years ago. what a treasure.

Great job! It's so nice to see a vintage treasure finished up for folks to love and use. Much better than folded up in a drawer!

Wow, sitting in a drawer for 20 years! You sure did a wonderful job of finishing the quilt and bringing it back to life.

It looks to me like you did a great job. I buy vintage quilts and vintage quilt tops and some of them are quite interesting to fix. I have one now that I have no clue why they did what they did to a beautiful top, I will be working on that one a long time.

Looks like some fabrics from the 60s thru the 80s. Be sure to post your finished quilt.

I am sure her grandmother is smiling down from heaven. Surely the quilt will be a comfort to the family for such a tragedy. God bless.

A big kudos to you for suffering through and making a great quilt for this person. Did you lose much hair? I would have had mine all pulled out.
