    Default Wagon Wheel Crumb Challenge

Yesterday, I was browsing through Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia of Pieced Quilt Patterns (one of my fav books) and found the Wagon Wheel pattern. I promptly decided to make it using scraps from my stash. Then I decided to add a sashing(the brown) Since most of my bindings are 2" strips, I decided to make 2" wheel rims. I will be using a teddy bear marching band fabric to fussy cut the centers. I was given that fabric and never especially liked it but am too cheap to toss it. The sashing is left from a quilt I made in 2001.

The challenge: Using what you have on hand, make a wagon wheel quilt. I am sure everyone's will be different.

that is really pretty...even if the background has to be different for each wheel, it will still look great!
