Great job. Like you, I love to make colorful quilts. They are always a happy sewing and quilting experience for me, and they always make me smile when I look at them.

Love your quilt, I am in the process of making this pattern. The craft group I belong to are using this pattern as a block swap (something we haven't done in a long while) so it will be interesting to see the range of fabrics used and how each of us plans out our tops. We all are making one extra block and with a donation of fabric from a local fabric supplier we are also making a Charity Quilt. One of our ladies has a long arm machine and has offered to quilt it for us when it is complete and she also has a contact for charity quilts. It is actually a very easy pattern to follow, the only problem I have found is that you really have to do a scant 1/4" seam otherwise the block turns out a little smaller than the 12 1/2"

Love your pattern and your colors. I'm jealous of your daughter, so I guess I will put this on my bucket list. Thanks for giving us the pattern name and where to find it. Its a present worth waiting for!
