Thanks for the kind words. Its sunny and mild in Raleigh oday--to be cold (40's) and raining tomorrow and Friday--might need my long johns! I think I'd like to make a pillow too--to go with the pansy lap quilt that I gave my aunt last summer. We'll see.

Your house seems so familiar to me. I am originally from Asheville, NC
and visit my aunt that lives in Sylva, NC. Your house reminds me of one
that I pass when visiting her and I have always admired it. I now live in Tx
and so when I see it, it reminds me of home and the many sweet memories of my aunt.

The house in in Yancey County, just about 15 miles from Burnsville on Bald Mountain Rd. The tiny commuity is called Bee Log. I have seen the sign for that town, but cn't say I ever remeber going through it. But I bet your aunt would rember this tiny little community. They have an elementary school with about 50 students and 10 tachers! The older kids are bussed into Burnsville.
