Default Wall hanging using silk flowers

Due to illness, and some other things going on in my world, I haven't done any quilting for about 2 1/2 months. Finally have things under control and couldn't decide what to work on so, of course, I started something new. I had these really pretty silk flowers, I took them apart and then sewed them on. I left the top layers free around the edges for a 3-D effect. For an experiment, I think it turned out pretty good.

How cute!! I have some machine embroidery designs that came with the flowers and it fills in the middle and the leaves. I have yet to do much with it but that is the way they look when done. You did a great job on it!

This turned out great. I did this a few years ago and it was fun.

That was a really nice idea, and I love something that shows the 3-D.
