For me, I would use one going to garage sales.

Where do you get the lanyard hooks? I imagine they are at Hobby Lobby or Michael's, but what department?

I think us older ladies would like them. So much crime going on nowadays I carry a small cross body purse. I am a mall walker and that would be perfect for my drivers license and a few bucks and car key. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that so and so drove to the mall and left her purse in the care. It got broken into and the purse was stolen. Malls, and movie theaters are full of cars and are targets for thieves, don't leave your purse in the car.

Me, me, me - you can give one to me! Seriously, I am 66 and those are so cute.

I would love one for when I go walking, etc. They are an ideal size and yours look so well made! I can see these selling really well at craft/guild shows. Your color choices are great.

Do you have the link for the patterns?

They would be cute holders for gift cards for birthdays or other holidays.

I bought these at Jo-Ann's. They came in a package of 6, I think. I bought both bronze and silver and D rings to match, which I also got at Jo-Ann's.

Jo-Ann's has stuff like this in different locations; they apparently stock by manufacturer. You just kind of have to look all over. These were with lanyard cord, etc., and near the jewelry-making supplies.

That's a great idea! Two gifts in one! I like it!

Thanks! I mostly used scraps. Doesn't take a lot to make these. The clasps and rings are the only real $ investment in these. Well, and the fusible fleece.
