rvsfan...no glue. You hold the convex shape on top of the concave shape (I hope I got that right...) and just keep following the line of the bottom shape, keeping your top shape lined up along the bottom about 1/2" at a time. 1/4" seam allowance. About 1/2" from the end, you put needle down, lift your presser foot and push all the upper fabric to the back and make the upper and lower edges match up so you can run straight off the edge. Harder to explain than it is.
As you can see, even small curves were pretty easy.
The instructor does on-line classes and was very engaging. You also got time to work on your project while other people asked questions and chatted, etc.
