    Thanks to all of you who assisted me with my wallhanging problem. Several days later, I have nipped, tucked, unpicked (more than once!) and resewn. It is not ever going to win a prize, but I wanted to show the first real quilting item I have done. Thank you all again who helped, yes I did use all the suggestions and resources given :) :) :) :)

    You have no reason to be the least apologetic about this beauty!!! You did an awesome job on this quilt!!! I love all of the 3D work you did on this....it is a work of art :D:D:D

    What a pretty Kimono quilt. I have never done any kind of quilt that involved folding like those.

    Thank you all for your kind comments, the designer is Dianne Weber and she has some really beautiful patterns that she has designed herself. I made this particular design as my DIL is Japanese, and she and my son have two girls, hence the three kimonos.:):)

    They can be kinda addictive, and choosing the fabrics for the kimonos is a lot of fun. I will see if one of the girls wants one for her bedroom. At least I sorta know what I am doing this time:) Bea
