Izy, you are a kick in the pants, I am laughing so hard. Here I am reading this 4 1/2 years later...I pulled up your "view profile" then clicked on latest threads started and began to look at all your beautiful work. You have created some really beautiful creations and quilts. You are an inspiration to me. I can't wait to make one of these little thread baskets - too late tonight - will do it in the a.m. I probably won't be able to figure it out...like a few others here on the board. At any rate, I just wanted to drop a note to tell you how wonderful your quilting is, and what a great sense of humor to go with it. Happy quilting! Cheers.

I've made a couple of these. The first one was to size given in the original tute, the second I made with Denim & Gingham and made it larger (3 1/2"). It sit on the table beside my recliner and I use it constantly. For snipped threads when I'm sewing ends in to a quilt & for cut threads of wool if I'm knitting or sewing a jumper together.
Girls!!! Don't let it beat you. I still had trouble with the second one. I figure if I can make a few more I might master it.
