Default Want to share an old quilt with you...

My friend ask me to quilt this for her, it was her mother's and she had made her three girls one. It is hand embroidered flowers with light green boarders around each block. The green is very fragile so I had it LAQ by someone else and all I did was bind it. I thought the embroidery was so beautiful.

Beatiful embroidery work. I can see why you wanted to save it for her.

Wow great embroidery work and glad you could save it! It really makes sense to use the best possible fabric we can afford in case a quilt becomes an heirloom. I am sure the only quilt that future generations will have of mine, is a polyester double knit one I made years ago. It is showing no signs of wearing out.
