I personally think it's beautiful. Frankly I think we are our own worst critics...

Well, first thing I noticed is- it is beautiful! I can't tell too much about the quilting, but it looks fine to me. Good job, I think.

Great job, I love the soft puffiness of your quilt. It's just inviting someone to wrap up in it coziness. Keep up the good work!

First, I want to say that the quilt looks wonderful and you did a wonderful job. The only reason I am mentioning anything else is because you asked and I have the same quilting set up. I have learned a lot by trial and lots of error! I think someone mentioned starting in the middle of the quilt. You do not need to do that if you are using the Gracie frame. I start at one end and just keep quilting and rolling until I am done. It looks to me like the top layer needs to be a little tighter on the quilt frame. The batting can be fairly loose. The backing can be just a little looser than the top. I used to be so afraid of stretching, that I would not get the quilt on tightly enough. You should be able to get the look you are wanting if you tighten up on the quilt and use lower loft batting. You will probably be happier if you increased the density of the quilting. We are our own worst critics. I practiced for almost a year before I did an ACTUAL quilt. I had a top for my daughter "waiting" to be quilted. She finally said, "mom, just quilt it!"

I think your quilt is beautiful. I love it as! The only thing I would do different is define the legs of stars into the center.

Feathers...."half heart" that helps make the feather on the stem......
Quilting looks good, but I would "lock in" some of the centers of those blocks so they are not so puffy...JMHO

I love it. It looks like a comfy, plump and pretty quilt. Well done!

I really like the quilt. I too hate quilts that have no loft! Isn't the point of going to all that trouble that it should be 'padded'? Keep going - I too tremble at the idea of feathers!
