Default Wanted to share pics of my thrift store haul

Hubby and I spent the afternoon browsing our thrift stores and I finally scored on a bag of fabrics. Usually those bags for $3.50 have a lot of upholstery remnants in them so I have never purchased one before. But today I could spot lots of cottons in the bag so here is what I got for $3.50. Fifteen yards of fabrics, 8 fat quarters, loads of five inch squares, five yards of lace, some embroidery thread and a Christmas stocking. Also one of those fake quilt tops, Dresden plate design. If you can enlarge the pic with the blue denim you will see the cute sayings written on it.

Kitsy, you are laying the red/green paisley aside for my Christmas present, aren't you?

    Great haul. Congrats!

    Hi GrannieAnnie,

The paisley is not part of the haul. It is the back side of a table runner I made for Christmas but loved the back so much I have kept it on the dining room table. I'll take a pic of the front for you to see.

You did great! Funny, I have so many of those pieces that I got second handed. Isn't it fun!

Yes deedum, it is fun. I couldn't wait to get home, had the bag ripped open in the car and squealed with glee for a few miles. Hubby really doesn't understand what fabric can do to a quilter.

Oh, well, I've got a couple pieces pretty close. One is supposed to be a purse, one of these days. Please do send the pic. I did some table toppers, too. I hate to put them up!
