Those blocks are Great good save !! Some of those look like what I have in a stash from the 70-80's.... what would that be retro ??? and popular again, aren't we wearing peasant tops now that were all the rage back then? (ok off topic)
Will be looking for an update that smell is gone !! Baking soda and vinegar both sound like great ideas, wouldn't add them at the same time w/no water, fizzy, fizzy, or funny, funny.... somthing I would do !!
    Good Luck :)

Wait!!! Don't mix vinegar and baking soda together or you'll end up with a science experiment in your washing machine...remember making volcanos for science fairs in elementary school??? But...this is a great way to clean your drains...

Those are some cute fabrics, I hope you get the "smell" out. Everyone suggested what I would have used. Keep us posted!

I wonder if it would work in the toilet to get it clean?

Tide has a new soap with fabreeze I found this works wonders with bad smells like husbands stinky socks! Might be worth the try.

Love the mix of colors--really like scrappy quilts.

Try putting them outside in the fresh air. You have a treasure-trove of fabrics here. Do what you can to keep them.

Vinegar also works to clear the odor, but color test first
