Beautiful quilt!! What a wonderful way to stay warm. I am going to start sewing on a couple quilts here in a few minutes.

i needed to keep warm for sure, but I also needed to get disciplined, and get these other quilt tops off the shelf, or to the gal that long arms them here in town. Unfortunatly, I couldnt pay to have them done, so I didn't have any other option but to tie them myself... thus, setting up the frame, and gettin my rear in gear... But, the tieing is almost done, and then to the binding which is not my favorite thing to do either! what are you gonna work on?

I LOVE hand tied quilts! They are the very essense of our heritage, and they are very rarely seen anymore. That is going to be wonderful!

thank you, Morelcabin.. hand tieing to me is the essence of homespun quilting... I might not like it as well as the pretty long arm quilitng on some projects, but when you have to utilize the things you have on hand, it might mean just using the things on my hands, called fingers to do the work..

I love it... and to me the hand tieing just sets it off... It just looks like like a love tied into it!
