Why should anyone be horrified by you using a sheet for the backing, I, and I know of many, many other quilters, use sheets for backing all the time and especially for kiddiwinks quilts. They wear exceptionally well and of course launder superbly, so now when you go shopping look out for sale on sheets, and the other superb product for backings especially for children's' quilts, designer duvet covers :thumbup:
