    Got the idea from here on QB. I was short on the floral fabric, came here & searched "pieced backing".

    Don't know that I figured out the secret, except to say that the plastic circle template I bought was a waste of money. My rotary cutters wouldn't fit in the slots. I wound up cutting a template from cardstock and cut very, very carefully. :)
