Now, that is real togetherness! The quilt is beautiful. The pattern and fabrics go well together. My DH is a model railroader and has hie layout in the next room over in our basement. I don't envision myself running trains and he doesn't see himself running my sewing machine. Happy sharing of his new hobby.

My DH decided he needed a new hobby and after watching and keeping me company for a very long time, he decided that was something he'd enjoy doing. So, he picked his pattern, chose his fabrics and was on his way. He did all the cutting, on the GO, but he did all of it. Did almost all the sewing, he talked me into sewing a couple rows together, then decided it didn't look too hard, so he finished. I did help with the pinning and pressing, but overall he did it. I'm so proud of him.

Good work hubby. My DH began to quilt after his stroke but, as he got stronger and able to do other things, it went by the wayside.
I must say I was rather pleased he gave it up. Now I have my stash all to myself :-)
