    I didn't know it was called webbing, I have tried that but I manage to get them all messed up.

    Start on a nine patch to try it and then you can move up to larger pieces. I do this and it helps keep thing in order

    I 'chain piece' my blocks as well during the final construction stages but it never occurred to me to not clip them apart to help keep things in order. Hmmm. Will have to try this on my next project!

    New name for an old technique--ala eleanor burns - not only for putting blocks together, but also putting block pieces together first.
