    Agree .... I learned that way back when I did an Eleanor Burns QIAD class about 1990.
    I think she had a different name for it. Forget what it was though.

    It just comes automatically for me now, when I sew a bunch of blocks together.

    Cute quilt! It's going to make a nice lap quilt for any cat lover!

    I didn't know there was a special name for that technique. I used it years ago to put together my Trip Around the World quilt.
