Thanks.
I'm still in the process of making the lap quilts, but am trying to get ideas as to how to quilt the big one.
Well, if they like those colors, then I would go with them. If they "go out of style", then they will have to figure something out, right?

I'm now in the midst of finishing up the top to one of the lap quilts that will go along with it. Making one for her and one for him.
I'm almost finished with the top for her. Will post that once I finish the borders. Not sure what I'm going to do for a pattern for him and need to make it kind of manly. He likes blue, which is good, but most of my blue is flowers, so I need to dig a bit more in my stash.

Ok, here's the HERS lap quilt.
I just need to embroider her name on it, then bat and back it. I think I'm going to tie it. I have some orange floss which I think will look nice.
It won't be backed until I get the other lap done, then I will have a backing, batting and quilting session that will most likely last 2 days.

Gorgeous quilts!!! My first quilt was an irish chain. Full of "learning curves" but it's my favorite. I stitched along the diagonals of the "chains" but didn't use a straight edge, so they weave in about. :)
Keep them coming- just gorgeous!
