    I vote for a narrow white sashing and narrow first border. Then the purple. It will be lovely whichever way you go.

    I think the white blurs the edges too much. You lose part of the beauty of the square in my opinion.

    The purple or yellow make the squares pop better.

    Oh and I see what nstitches meant...the bright blue & white stars have a little problem in alignment.

    It will be so pretty especially since it is made with love.

    I vote for the white. I didn't notice the 2 blocks until I looked. I love the colors you picked out. I like the idea of the white borders then with purple on the outer border.

    I think the white tends to blend in with the blocks too much. I would use a very thin strip of the purple with white outside that.
