Wedding Quilt kept me busy for 7 weeks.
Of course, the family knows that my gifts are quilts. Weddings are especially notable. This for my grandson and his lovely spouse-to-be. Patterned from Eleanor Burns' Lovers' Knot pattern in the colors of their choice (they don't know anything other than I asked for their color preference).
Please forgive color shift in pics. The flash tended to wash out any detail but when I disengaged it, the color shifted. True colors are a lovely purple, cornflower blue and bright white on white; backing is a very light silvery grey. All DSM produced. It was pure pleasure to do, but I'm glad now to be moving onto some other projects.
Thanks for letting me share. (Now if I can only figure out how to upload . . . my first time.)

P.S. Preview shows these pics as huge, though I resized them down to what I thought would be a 3.5" display. I'm going to take a chance and submit in the hopes that they resize. If not, my sincere apologies. I'll try again.

The labels are precious and the quilt is beautiful. The colors are striking and the quilting is very nice. I know it is going to be well loved. It is well worth the 7 weeks you put into it, don't you think? I do.

Gorgeous quilt and labels! I bought Elenor Burns book, but I think it will be a while before I'm brave enough to tackle this one. I think it's just the most perfect pattern for a wedding quilt. Lucky bride and groom.
