    I just love that idea, and really like your color choice for thread as well, sometimes I get stumped on how to quilt something, especially if it is for someone else. Thanks for sharing and please share the finished quilt, I am sure it will be as lovely as you have planned it. Again great job.

    Thank you so much for your comment and encouragement. Much appreciated. Oh, I'll definitely share the finished quilt. Won't be done for about three weeks as she's also doing the binding for me.

    With the complexity of that pattern, I think anyone might have had an episode of meltdown!

    The quilt is very beautiful. Just the right amount of different fabrics -- nice choices.

    Thank you. I cannot take the credit for the fabric choices, this came as a kit. Funny thing is, one of the reasons I ordered it was for what appeared to me as easy piecing. Straight lines, right? How can a gal get in trouble with straight lines? Oh, let me count the ways! :lol: :roll:
