Thanks for sharing your scrappy quilts. I too found it difficult to do scrappy quilts, as I like the control over the quilt top, but it has become easier the more scrappy quilts I make. I make family reunion quilts for our bi-annual family reunions, I pick a color scheme and I have absolutely no control over the fabric I receive, but I always wind up with a beautiful quilt that gets raffled off. Someday I may actually win one for myself or one of my 2 children. Hope springs eternal.

I recently finished the Stack and Whack wedding quilt for our son and daughter-in-law, the Over and Under scrappy is for our DGD and the 9 Patch Snowball is the first one I've done completely on my own machine. I'm really starting to like the scrappy quilts, though I have a very hard time not making them "controlled".
