    I also made one of those and it comes in very handy, saves a lot of trips to the big ironing board. Congratulations on getting a new 6600P, it's a great machine. Thank you for sharing.

    Someone posted something similar except hers was made from a used small dresser she got at a yard sale. Great idea!

    Did you prewash your fabric? I wonder using dark fabric with steam or starch against light | white fabric?

    I haven't ever used one of these but it looks helpful. My problem is I don't have much floor space in my sewing room. My DH made this for me and has had to make several for my QB friends. It is also great to take to classes as the ironing board is always in use.

    I love it because it is easy to carry and it has a removable ironing cover and a protective cover when you are not using it. Because the base is padded, I can also use it to place my pins on.
