Thanks all. It's not very big at all, so it wasn't that time consuming. Ottawa is in a wicked heat wave, couple by massive thunderstorms. So, being outside is brutal - some of us northerners are not used to super hot weather, nor do we like it!!!! I was quite content to stay inside most of the long weekend and do some quilting.

I am afraid of pouncing because the chalk falls off. But the hairspray is a brilliant idea. I may have to try it. Why did you iron/press it? I would have been afraid it would have heat set the blue. Your quilt is gorgeous, by the way.

Your quilt is wonderful. You are very encouraging to those of us who have this technique high on the bucket list-that is me. I really like your design and understand how you arrived at it. I would not have thought of hair spray. What we all need is time stretchers! You certainly made good use of your time inside due to the hot, hot weather.

Pouncing, then hairspring. Brilliant. Your quilting is super dooper!
