    Looks fantastic. I think your idea works brilliantly. I don't think creative thinking is weird....and don't forget quilting is not just to hold the layers together, but enhance the design, which you have done.

    Wow it looks wonderful you did an awesome job. FMQ'ing makes the quilt your own I think. So what you do with it is up to you and it looks wonderful.

    Thanks for all your positive affirmation. I really didn't know if it would work or not, and partway through I was contemplating ripping this out too, but I stuck with it, and am pleased with the result. This quilting board is awesome! I feel like you are all friends and neighbours!
