    I didn't quilt either when my husband was deployed. How I remember making the lei's to put on the sail of the submarine when it came back to Hawaii!

    Nice quilt and a lovely sentiment! please thank your son from me for his service. And speaking from personal experience...being a military mom, wife or child isn't easy!
