ive just been getting back to quilting after 5 yrs of doing none.
b4 that, the hardet block i attempted was a shoofly..
Now DH thinks ive lost my mind lol

i started the baby quilt first for an expecting friend..
then all the girls wanted bigger 1s since they outgrew the baby 1s i made them

13 yr old wanted stars and blue...

i had found Dora prints on craigs list and figured the 5 yr old would probably outgrow it by the time i got a fancier 1 done for her... so i used it to practice my quarter inch seams and pressing instead of ironing.. and made simple rail fence blocks and borders of it...

And last and most difficult to start was for the 8 yr old... she wanted the pinks and greens, but she wanted pinwheels and 4 patch so i played around with it to come up with a 16" block.. she loves it.. i think the green is a bit too bright lol. I was going to make it a 12" block when i started but discovered i am NOWHERE near ready for 1 1/2" strips or pieces lol

i had to pin the wing in the center block for the picture.. it isnt bunched without the pins

Great start or re-start. Good color choices.

They're all very pretty. Especially like that blue star one. I bet the kids will love them all.

Looks like you are hooked. Welcome back to the world of quilting. Blocks are like potato chips, one is never enough!
