    Does the 9 patch look like it's been cut off and re binded? Maybe some thing happened on that side and someone decided to re do it>Either way, I love both of them!

    Nice buy. I love that nine-patch...the other one is lovely too, but I love "busy" quilts.

    I love the applique one. I have that pattern on my "one of these days" list. You struck a gold mine with those finds. congrats!

    I, too love the applique'd quilt but the Irish Chain your husband bought pulls at my heartstrings as I'm sure the fabric in that quilt came from the maker of the quilt's closets or rag bags of used clothing...I have several such quilts that I can look at and see the dress I wore when I was 5, the shirt my dad wore or the blouse my mom had on for my first grade play. Those quilts are the most special. You ware so fortunate to find the quilts. Thanks for sharing.
