Oh wow, I'm sure the instructor will love the wall hanging. It is beautiful, wonderful use of an Irish chain.

Beautiful Quilt! But a question which will probably sound dumb!! What exactly is stippling? I am not new to quilting but have only attepted quilting on my own and with just reading. This site has really given me a wealth of information.

Stippling is the all-over machine quilting that is great for a beginner to learn. You just go where ever you want and just try not to cross over any of the previous quilting....just remember "there are no rules in quilting" so if you cross over any previous it is just fine! It can also be called "meandering".
