I need help identifying this block. The quilt was donated to our local (entirely volunteer) library and it will be raffeled to raise money for the library. It was donated by a family in memory of their mother who made the quilt, but they did not know the name of the pattern and I have not been able to find it on the web. Can anybody identify it?

It has an older block look to me - late 1800s, early 1900s.

I keep thinking it is a star of bethlehem. Or maybe a king david's crown. I looked those up at quilter's cache, and thier variations don't look like this.
