    Hi,as well as bags,car or picnic rugs come to mind.Some time ago myself and a friend were given lots of these pattern books. We made quilts and quillows for the homeless.We put handles on the quillows so that when they were folded up they doubled as a bag to keep whatever belongings they had in, when unfolded they could put their belongings in the cushion ,and their feet, safe and warm !Love Letty

    our guild embers are always makin bags from this fabric. then they are give to womens shelters or homeless shelters .. they appreciate tme as it may be the only bag the have to carry around. some fill with personal items which are always needed

    this is a nice idea. You never know sometimes how a block will turn out.
