    I only have two more blocks to make and am having a problem as to what color I should use for the border

    I would use the tan colored fabric for the borders.

    I say a small tan border, then either a small red, blue or white, and then another larger tan border. That way the middle one looks like it's floating and give it a little extra pop.

    Small red or blue border ( 1 - 1 1/2 inch) then a large tan border. But anything will look pretty :)

    I would use a printed border. Some fabric that is not solid.

    I'd do a small white inner border because that color won't "touch" the white in the blocks. Then blue, then red. Or the white & a print as someone suggested.

    Small white border and then one of the other primary colors - red or blue in a print as suggested.
