    Thanks! I'll stick to the cream. Another question - I'm planning on selling this quilt, what would you look for in the actual quilting that would make you want to buy this?

    Your quilt is absolutely beautiful. Will you share your pattern name with us?

    I think, since the background fabric is cream, I would choose a darker shade (a couple of shades darker, perhaps an ecru) for the quilting and use the same thread top and bottom. This would make the quilting show, but wouldn't take away or overpower the beautiful star center. ;-)

    Oh My! My first reaction to your lovely quilt was a quick intake of breath. It is absolutely stunning! I agree with everyone -- feathers.
    And is there a varigated thread that ranges from cream through the pinks into the dark reds? I love the varigated threads and the look they give with the light and dark showing throughout the top.
