Default What a difference quilting makes

The first quilt top was a charity quilt given to my local group so it could be finished and given to the shelter for battered women or other charities they support. I quilted it and the patches out of order and mismatches no longer seem to show up. The close of the block shows a simple star design taught by Kimmey Brunner in a new craftsy class.

The second is just a gorgeous, gorgeous top that a friend made. She always has wonderful color combos and perfect piecing. I needed to quilt hers so that it enhanced her beautiful top but did not take away from it.

Quilting really can take a quilt to a higher level. Your quilting certainly enhanced and elevated those quilts.

Looks great!! I have the book "Quilting Makes The Quilt" by Lee Cleland and the author is so right.
