This is a beautiful quilt!!! Now I know what to do with all those fabrics I have been saving. The squares actually look much larger than 2". Great color coordinations. Love those colors.

Great idea. Gives me an idea for the HST's from Siggy swap.

Neat quilt. So colorful and scrap happy.

Depending on how large you want to get, a border around a broder, around a border, around a border (you get the idea) for each of the primary colors in the quilt.

Or a wide braided border would be nice.

Thanks everyone. I haven't had computer access since last week and I'm trying to catch up...this board is a busy one.....of course I like it that way.

Many of these HSTs are made from the leftover triangles I got when doing the sew and flip on snowball blocks. Also, sometimes when I have scraps of fabric I cut them into 3" squares, sew on each side of the diagonal line and trim the resulting HSTs to 2.5". I still have lots more and the next time I think I might do something using Flying Geese blocks.

There was no pattern for this quilt...just went from the picture that Rita from redpepperquilts posted on the flickr site.

Great quilt. Love the way you used up so many HST. I am making HST with 5" squares using the Missouri Star Quilt method and I love it. Was wondering what I could make with so many HST's, now I know. Thanks.
