I found these the same day I bought the vintage machines and treadle table. There is only one large piece (the gray on the right) and 26 of the smaller, mostly pink-framed blocks. The smaller blocks are not uniform is size, but are about 12 inches or so square. The larger piece is about 16 x 34. I couldn't seem to leave them there, and only paid $1 for all. Most of the pieces have holes or worn places in the top. But what should I do with them? Thanks in advance for your creative ideas. You folks are amazing!

Use them as the backing to some of your work.

Fade some repro fabric and get them one size by using sashing (use old pattern for the sashings, like mini log cabins, flying geese, 9-patch, 4 patch, etc.)
Assemble a top and hand quilt it.
Know in doing it, you've honored some long gone lady

I like the pillow idea. Perhaps some faded border fabric around them to increase the size. Very nice.

Do the blocks seem to have been cut? They look like maybe they were trimmed out with a rotary cutter, perhaps. I think they would be fab mounted and framed.
