    Thanks so much, I'm making a quick quilt, cheating, I'm making the Halloween ( only Christmas) one only instead of using three strips, I'm using one and instead of 3 1/2" sqs I'm using a 6 1/2" block.

    Yes, I like your colors, but I would put a 1" finished border of red or black around the cheater fabric before adding the light blue.

    This is what I call matchy - matchy. The border color matches the swirls in the panel. This is how I try to match fabrics, matching colors in the main fabrics. I am finishing one up now.
